She has curated and exhibited in DIY shows across Phoenix and NYC. Rooted in the body-as-text ethos of écriture féminine and the canon of radical feminist performance art, her work incorporates estranged objects, written portraiture, and conceptual altarpieces.
Lily’s independent research explores the intersections between fashion and embodiment, archive and memory, subject and object. She has presented papers on menstrual activism, critical body studies, and embodiment under capitalism. Her writing was awarded Best in English at Arizona State University.
Lily lives in Brooklyn. She can often be found salvaging debris, scribbling in a margin, or playing dress up in her grandmother’s clothes.
